Nouziès is a charming hamlet on the edge of Les Causses – a high limestone plateau recognised for its grey rocks, dry stone walls and oak woods. The house is on the side of a hill and has views over the wooded valleys. Throughout the year the light in this area is bright and clear - it is a region well known for studying the stars and planets.
Each season has its own particular charm and magic - Spring has masses of wild flowers - especially orchids. The magnificent Dordogne River is 15 minutes away where there is the choice of swimming and/or canoeing. Eating outside is enjoyed for many months and throughout the year there is a varied choice of excellent value restaurants and local markets selling fresh products which make delicious picnics.
